• What is Trivia Night?  2024 marks the 20th annual fundraiser for the Hinsdale South Booster Club, and the 5th year in which we have done Trivia Night. Trivia Night is the perfect balance of a fun social outing combined with light-hearted trivia competition to benefit Hinsdale South. Proceeds from this event benefit our students by helping to fund our scholarships, grants, and school activities. This event started many years ago and has transformed into an annual event that parents, district supporters, and school faculty look forward to every year. 

• What if I am not good at trivia?  If this is your first time coming to a Trivia Night, it’s a ton of fun, and you don’t need to be “good at trivia” to have a great time. The questions hit on all areas and you're working with a team in good-spirited competition. It's about the fun, not the trivia!

• What are some of the other things that take place during the event?  Outside of trivia you can participate in our Silent Auction. We have amazing gift baskets and prizes available, in fact you can participate in the Silent Auction even if you can't attend Trivia Night.  

• What is the date for the event?  Friday, February 16, 2024

• What time is the event? The event opens at 6:30pm. Trivia begins at 7:00pm and ends at 10:00pm. 

• What is the location for the event?  Trivia Night 2023 will be at Five Seasons in Burr Ridge.

• When will registration open?  Registration opens on February 2, 2024.

• What is the Theme for Trivia Night? Our theme this year is "Through the Decades." Pick a decade and let it be the inspiration for your team name, table decorations, attire, etc.

• What is the maximum number of people per table? 10 

• Can I request to be seated with specific people?  Yes, please share the names of your tablemates when you register.  

• Are kids included in this event? This event is adults only.  

• Do we need a table name?  Yes. All tables will need to provide a name prior to the event. We will contact you to get your table name.

• Do we have to decorate our table to go with the theme?  That's up to you!  Some people decorate their tables in the same theme as they name they have chosen. Don’t worry if you choose not to decorate; plenty of people just come for the fun. 

• What is the attire for the event?  This is a casual event.  

• Are Food and Beverages Served at the Event?  Included in your registration is a delicious buffet style dinner. A cash bar will be provided. Outside alcohol is discouraged. You may bring snacks for your table.
